Boot Top A painted line that can indicate the designed or normal waterline. Originally a stripe of paint applied at the waterline, usually of a dark color, that can be readily cleaned of fouling and stains by sanding and scraping. This reduces the time and labor required to keep the topsides looking good as it is a much smaller area and does not have to be color matched to the primary hull color. |
